Dovi’s Big Adventure

A VERY SPECIAL MORNING

It was a warm and beautiful morning in Dovi’s World.

Golden sunlight danced across the flowers, the leaves swayed gently in the breeze, and far beyond the little family home, the great volcano rested beneath the blue sky.

But Momi and Povi were not watching the flowers.

They were watching one very special egg.

Momi leaned closer with an excited smile.

“Povi, our little egg may hatch today!”

Povi’s eyes lit up.

“What should we name our baby?”

Momi thought for a moment.

“How about… Dovi?”

Povi smiled.

“Dovi! I love it!”

And then...

RUMBLE... RUMBLE...

The ground gave a tiny shake.

Far away, the volcano puffed a great cloud into the sky.

Momi and Povi looked at each other.

Then they looked at the egg.

The egg began to move.

ROLL, DOVI, ROLL!

First, the little egg wobbled.

Then it rocked from side to side.

And suddenly—

WHOOSH!

Down the hill it rolled!

“Povi, look!” cried Momi.

“The egg!”

Momi and Povi hurried after it.

The little egg rolled past flowers, bounced beside the rocks and hurried along the winding path.

Roll, roll, roll!

Momi and Povi ran as fast as they could.

But the little egg was surprisingly quick!

Soon it disappeared into a patch of tall green ferns.

Everything became quiet.

Momi and Povi stopped.

Where had their little egg gone?

A TINY DINOSAUR IN A BIG WORLD

Hidden among the soft green leaves, the egg gave one last little wobble.

Crack!

A tiny piece of shell fell away.

Crack... crack!

Two curious little eyes appeared.

And then—

POP!

Out came a tiny blue dinosaur.

It was Dovi.

For the very first time, Dovi looked around at the enormous world.

Tall trees stretched above him.

Colourful flowers surrounded him.

Leaves rustled softly in the breeze.

Everything was new.

Everything was wonderful.

But...

Where were Momi and Povi?

FOLLOW OUR VOICES, DOVI!

From somewhere beyond the ferns, Dovi heard something.

A familiar, gentle sound.

Momi and Povi were calling him.

“Dovi... Dovi...”

Dovi lifted his little head and listened carefully.

There it was again!

He followed their voices.

One little step.

Then another.

Step by step, Dovi climbed the hill.

The voices grew louder.

And suddenly, Dovi saw them.

Momi.

Povi.

His family.

WELCOME HOME, LITTLE DOVI

Dovi hurried toward them as fast as his tiny feet could carry him.

Momi opened her arms.

Povi smiled from ear to ear.

And for the first time, the little family was finally together.

Momi held Dovi close.

Povi leaned beside them.

Their little egg had taken quite an adventure...

but it had brought Dovi exactly where he belonged.

Home.

And that was only the beginning of Dovi’s adventures...
